Recently named “Best Male Comic” in the city by the Boston Examiner, Dave Russo has been a mainstay of Boston comedy for the last fifteen years. As co-host of NESN’s Dirty Water TV, he produces a regular comedy series, in addition to reporting on the best of Boston night life. He has appeared on The E! TV series “The Entertainer”, NBC’s “The Today Show,” FOX 25 with Gene Lavanchy, “The Phantom Gourmet,” and was hand selected by the producer of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” to perform on NESN’s Comedy All-Stars.
Dave Russo has yet to meet the audience he can’t win over. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, this boisterous and high energy comic has performed all across the country, with everyone from Rich Little, Lewis Black, and Sinbad to Andrew “Dice” Clay, Kevin Hart, and Bill Burr.
Dave started off his comedy career with a bang, winning the first ever Boston Comedy Festival, with only a couple years' experience under his belt. From there, it was off to New York City and then Las Vegas, where he was hand selected out of thousands of performers for a coveted spot as a competitor on Wayne Newton’s reality series The Entertainer on the E! Network. Performing alongside ten other comedians, magicians, and singers, Dave was the only comic to survive the entire series, as others were swiftly eliminated, and although Dave did not win the series’ grand prize, a $1 million contract to serve as Newton’s opener, as runner-up he did win a contract to remain in Vegas, where he spent the next several years honing his act (and if we’re being truthful, we bet you can’t name the singer who walked away with the $1 million).
Upon returning to Boston, Dave took his place among the city’s legendary headliners, performing at Denis Leary and Cam Neely’s annual Comics Come Home, and he became the comedy host for the city’s premier nightlife TV series, Dirty Water TV on NESN, where he reported on nightlife events and interviewed the city’s biggest movers and shakers. Along with other Boston comedy legends and hockey legends Cam Neely and Mike Richter, he appeared in the classic Thanksgiving commercial “A Very Farrelly Thanksgiving” for NBC (directed by the Farrelly Brothers of Dumb and Dumber fame), and he appeared with Tom Brady in a Shields MRI commercial.
His credits include NESN’s Comedy All-Stars, NBC Sports’ Charlie Moore Outdoors, TV 38’s The Phantom Gourmet, and NBC’s The Today Show. A lifelong sports fan, Dave’s charity work includes appearances at New England Patriot Matt Light’s annual “Celebrity Shoot-Out,” golfing alongside Micky Ward at the legendary boxer’s charity golf tournament and competing in the Boston Bruins Alumni charity games. He has done similar work with the Genesis Fund and most notably the Mark Bavis Celebrity Golf Scholarship Event.

Artie was a pharmacist because his father was a pharmacist. Artie is a comedian because one day - at age 44 - he went to an open mic night. And the rest is history.
Making New England (and the whole country) laugh since 2000, Artie draws on nearly five decades in healthcare for material. He has starred in Denis Leary’s Comics Come Home show for a sold-out crowd of 10,000 people and at a show alongside Jay Leno. Artie routinely performs with tailored materials at healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical conferences and events.
Based in the Boston suburbs full time after splitting time in Provincetown for the last several years, Artie has performed across the country, at venues in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Boston, New York, D.C., Baltimore and beyond. His home club is Giggles in Saugus, Massachusetts where he works with similarly hilarious comedians including Lenny Clarke, Tony V, Steven Wright, and Steve Sweeney. He’s worked with national headliners Brian Regan, Dane Cook, Joe List and Boston’s own Bill Burr.
In his brief meeting with George Carlin, Arite was told by George, “Never let them change your name. Januario! It flows so romantically.” So, if your name is Rumpelstiltskin or something weird like that, don’t change it: because George would have probably liked it.
Joey Carroll made his way onto the comedy scene on a dare. His first open mic got him his first paid gig. Joey has been performing clean, thought provoking comedy for 20 years. His comedy is the result of a unique life experience and the positive attitude he keeps no matter what life throws at him. He has used his talents to raise money
Joey Carroll made his way onto the comedy scene on a dare. His first open mic got him his first paid gig. Joey has been performing clean, thought provoking comedy for 20 years. His comedy is the result of a unique life experience and the positive attitude he keeps no matter what life throws at him. He has used his talents to raise money for many non-profit organizations such as: The Paraclete Center (Boston), the Greater Boston Food Bank, Life Is Nutz, M.O.A.R., Right Turn, Comics for Recovery, and other groups dedicated to helping people. With great pride, he has also done hundreds of fundraising shows for Police and Firefighter organizations over the years. Since 1999, Joey has used his comedy to bring much needed laughter to our troops overseas since. He loves this direct and personal way of showing his support and connecting with our always appreciative and grateful heroes. His overseas tours have included: Afghanistan, Bosnia, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, and Macedonia. A later tour took him to the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean to entertain on Naval bases. He is also a hit with audiences at sea! Joey is appreciated by cruise lines for his clean observational comedy, which also makes him a perfect act for just about any venue. Other appearances include: Celtic Pride, being featured in NESN's Roughing It and WCVB's Chronicle, Comedy Central's Pulp Comics and lastly on NECN’s Broadside with Jim Braude. Joey loves to spend his free time motorcycling, boating and restoring his 1885 Queen Anne Victorian bed & breakfast, Harrington House, in Winthrop, MA, where he lives a wonderful life with his wife, two dogs and cat.
